- There are a few possibilities, here are the most common:

- 1) Your TCP/IP dialer and winsock needs optimization.
- * Make sure your terminal speed is not too fast or too slow
- * Make sure you have no other communications software running
- * Make sure your packet sizes are correct
- 2) Your ISP has great modems but has little bandwidth to the internet,
- try another provider.
- 3) Your ISP has bad modems.
- 4) The remote host you are accessing is very busy, try other hosts.
